Often, we hunt crab in the jettys near Nehalem Bay on the Northern Oregon Coast. There is this old salty captain dude that cooks your catch in a giant ever boiling vat. He taught us about preparing the crab heart in butter (melted crab fat). Very Very tasty! Anyway, that’s my favorite crab cookery.
